Going To Podcamp Montreal!
September 2, 2008 – 1:35 pm | by Daryl TayWhen I read about Podcamp Montreal fromMitch Joel’s blog, I signed up instantly! One of the things I wanted to do while on exchange here in Kingston was to really explore the social media scene and see how different it is from Singapore. What a perfect opportunity!
I’m a little nervous because the official language in Montreal is French (according to Wikipedia) and some of the sessions are held in French, but I’m sure there will be enough English sessions to get by.
It’s happening over the 20th and 21st of September (just three weeks away!) so be prepared to see lots of blogging and Flip videos over that weekend. I just know this is going to be inspiring.

Good news Daryl! I’m looking forward to meeting in person. While in Kingston, you should connect with Tommy Vallier.
No need to worry about language while here - there’s plenty of English to go around.
See you soon!

Hello Daryl
Well you’re already ’cause célebre’ at PodCamp Montreal, since we all say you’re coming all the way from Singapore, which makes our event sound that much more interesting
If you check out the PodCamp Montreal schedule, you’ll see that there are three streams and, more often than not, two of them are English presentations.

So no worries - we look forward to meeting you. Please be sure to come by and say hello.
Michelle
